De Tierra Lejana Venimos means: we are coming from a far away land. It’s a traditional Puerto Rican Christmas Carol, depicting the journey of the Magi and their offering of gifts to the new-born child. Beautiful song, beautiful melody. It has a lot of beautiful sparkly rhythm. And it has the “silence of Christmas” - the magic stillness when Christmas arrives.
