Viktor Mastoridis

My name is Viktor Mastoridis and I am the son of Nadezda (Macedonian) & Ioannis (Greek) Mastoridis. I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. When I was 6 my family moved to Skopje, Macedonia (part of Yugoslavia till 1991).

In 1989 I moved to the Netherlands and 1998 to London, UK, where I currently live.

My life vocation is Music Composition. I also teach and work as a journalist as well.

In my music path I started with Blues, moved to Prog Rock end finally to Hip-Hop, before I turned to Balkan World music which I mainly do today. For more detailed musical biography click here.

As a teacher I started teaching privately and ended up as a Head of Music in a North London International School.

As a journalist I worked for Radio Skopje Channel 2 and ended as a free-lancer in BBC World service, Macedonians.

I am married with Ginka and have a son Stefan from my previous marriage.

My main hobbies are website design, blogging and Linux.
